More Information about Chris Kohler

After joining the United States Marine Corps in ’97, Chris Kohler quickly moved up the ranks from Sergeant (E5), to reserve Officer, to a Task Force Officer for the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) until his most hire at the NM Office of the Attorney General where he specialized in Government corruption and white-collar crime cases. Kohler now serves as Special Agent in Charge of the NMAG’s Organized Retail Crime Unit. The NMAGO recently announced the creation of the New Mexico Organized Retail Crime Task Force, a statewide initiative dedicated to fighting retail crime and dismantling the organizations supporting it. SAIC Kohler commands the Task Force, working to educate and empower Law Enforcement Officers and citizens about the true scope and magnitude of Organized Retail Crime, and why meeting this challenge head-on is in the best interest of our communities and public safety.
